Eligibility
The SBDC hosted by PCR Business Finance and the LA Regional SBDC Network are dedicated to supporting a wide range of small businesses across various industries. Eligibility for SBDC services extends to entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and existing small business owners who are looking to start, grow, or sustain their businesses.
We also serve a diverse range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, service sectors, and technology. We are committed to providing accessible support to businesses from various backgrounds, including minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses.
To qualify for SBDC services, businesses typically need to meet the definition of a “small business” as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This generally means a business that is independently owned and operated, is not dominant in its field, and meets certain size standards in terms of the number of employees or annual revenue.
In addition to small business owners, we also welcome individuals who have not yet started a business, but have a strong idea or business plan. These aspiring entrepreneurs can benefit from our resources and guidance in developing their business plans, conducting market research, understanding financial options, and navigating the complex processes of launching a business.
